Child Development Center
A Quality Program

The Child Development Center is licensed by the State of Missouri to care for children three to six years of age. CDC has also received accreditation by the Voluntary Accreditation Association of Missouri for the last 16 years. These indicate the high quality of our staff and program. All teachers at CDC are degreed in Child Development or Early Childhood Education and are experienced in the education and care of young children. Our teachers continue their own education to provide the best educational experience for your child. We keep our classes small (13-14 children with 2 teachers) so teachers can be actively involved with your child. The CDC Advisory Board and parents support our continuing quest for high quality. We take seriously the challenge to provide rich, daily activities that are appropriate for all our children.

CDC Statement of Philosophy

The Child Development Center program adds to and strengthens the experiences and training provided for at home. It encourages:

• A healthy self-concept.
• Independence and adequacy in routine tasks.
• Expressing and comprehension of ideas.
• Creativity.
• Responsiveness to others.
• An emerging awareness of God's presence and activity.

All these points are foundational teachings of the Bible.
