Our Ministry with College Students and Young Adults


Who we are:

We are a group of college students and young adults who gather to seek God and follow Christ in our world.

While we are connected to the American Baptist Churches, USA, our members include Catholics, Lutherans, Presbyterians, and others. All are welcome; all viewpoints are respected.

We are seekers of differing opinions and abilities, united by our common commitment to follow Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Our statement of purpose:

To help persons discover and celebrate the presence of God in their lives, encouraging them to follow Christ in service to God and humanity.

What we do:

We meet each and every Thursday night from 6:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on the third floor of First Baptist Church (our host) for singing, prayer, Bible study, and fellowship.

Some, though not all, of us participate in Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. and worship at 8:50 a.m. or 11 a.m. at First Baptist, Columbia.

We have a Fall Retreat, a Winter Retreat, and a May Missions trip.
