Choral Opportunities for Kids to Adults
The Older Childrens Choir is an ensemble made up of chilren, grades 1-5, which meets
Sundays from 5:00-5:45 pm. Recently they joined with groups from Columbia to sing
in the first ever Columbia Children's Choir Festival.
A high energy, terrific sounding group, the Youth Ensemble, is a frequent
contributor to our worship at First Baptist. This fall they have sung the
contempory chorus, "Shout to the Lord", and they have presented
a praise song from the pen of Haydn. They meet each Sunday from
4:00-4:45 pm.
Chancel Choir....classical, jazz, contempory, spiritual... you name it, we sing it
to glorify our Lord. This is the choir that sings every Sunday, with rehersals on Wednesdays
from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Solo and ensemble opportunities also take place. For more information or to
