Skiers--Runners--Walkers--Picnickers--
Bikers--Tail-gaters--Softballers

First Baptist is an active church that plays together, prays together and ministers together. We have fun, we work out, and we continue to develop new activities and new opportunities for outreach.

For example:

Runners/Walkers--FBC t-shirts/tanks are provided for members who participate in local races. The bright yellow shirts are easy to locate in the mass of runners, and a runner wearing a FBC shirt has been on the front page of one of the local newspapers. For the Jingle Bell Run one November, FBC had a top 10 finisher and three age group medalists! Another race we participate in is the St. Patrick's Day 5K in March.

Tail-Gaters-- We have a FBC tail-gate party prior to a Mizzou football game in the fall. This is a really fun way to get together while publicizing First Baptist.

Annual Church Parties:

Winter Talent Show--a fun time where kids and seniors show off for each other.

Summer Picnic--good food, good fellowship and the Annual Egg Toss World Championship!

Christmas Dinner---The best-attended event of the year. More good food and outstanding entertainment.

Afternoon at the Farm-- a back-to-nature event with hayrides, Trunk-or-Treat, pit-cooked ham and beef, and the warmth of a campfire in October.

Other Opportunities:

Annual Ski Trip--we have skied Winter Park, Vail, Copper Mountain, Keystone, Breckenridge, Taos, Deer Valley, Park City, Alta, Heavenly, Squaw Valley and a few others!

Softball for Men in the summer

Gym and Swim for the kids in the summer

Many other opportunities are on the way. Please check the church newsletter for upcoming events.
