Handbell Opportunities for Kids to Adults

Children	Groups generally begin every other year for children in grades 3-5. Currently the Intermediate Childrens Bell Choir consists of ten children and meets every Sunday from 6:15-7:00 pm.
Youth	The Youth Ensemble is an exciting group of ringers in grades 6-12. There are approximately 17 ringers, and they meet every Sunday from 4:45-5:45 pm.
Adults	ABC (Adult Begining Choir) Belles is a group designed for beginning adult ringers that meets Mondays from 11:15-12:30. The group has been together for years, but they still like to be referred to as beginners. They have a ton of fun! The Chancel Bells are an advanced group that rings quite frequently in worship. Ringers range in age from college to senior adult, and they meet on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30pm

First Baptist is blessed to have two complete 5-octave sets of Schulmerich Handbells and two 3-octave sets of Malmark chimes.

The church is also home base for the nationally recognized Columbia Handbell Ensemble.
